If it was destroyed in '62 then its been gone for over 50 years now... Maybe we should gather and hold a BBQ to commemorate "destruction birthdays" once they get to 50!

Odd position - GPS puts it in a dip, where the 1:25k map shows a pond. Would have had little view. Note OS database has a Buried Block roadside.

I agree with the RW. It looks like it was about 25 meters into the field off the road, just to the west of the footpath. No sign of it now.

GPS suggests a point beside the FP in the hedge that runs away from the road. No remaining evidence of existance.

Not on my map - and my map doesn't have the M40 on it either! - presumably removed for agricultural purposes as there doesn't appear to be any other reason why it isn't here. Views over agricultural landscape and NE towards Banbury.
