Parked on Winsford Road between Minshull & Douglas Lanes GR 6286860077. Parking is possible on the lane itself, alongside telegraph pole number 5...The trig 'sits' 42 strides from the farmyard gate as you walk down the lane, look out for telegraph pole number 11 & looking thro' the hedge a plastic blue fence pole. Walking on a short distance to the next gate, access is possible in that you can walk between the roadside hedge & field side fence to reach the trigpoint. The electric fence wasn't 'live' on my encounter.

Parked at the beginning of Douglas Lane and walked to the farmers field. Had to negotiate the electrified fence to get into the field and could get within a few feet of the trig. The electric fence is working as I found to my cost....

Parked at the start of the lane. Through a gap in the hedge and up the side of the electric fence. If you put your arm close to the wire, if the hairs stand up then its live :o)

Covered in foliage. Could not access the pillar to remove it, as the pillar is surrounded by an electric fence. Did not attempt to determine whether the electric fence was live! So much for farmers being the custodians of the countryside!

Hidden by hedge at side of road/lane. Go past the trig heading to Woodside. There's a gate to your left and a tight path behind an electric fence (was not active) to the trig. It was covered in overgrowth. Plug is missing.

Access up the private road - quite a few vehicles running up and down the lane - looks to be a garage business at Woodside ? Accessed into field on LHS of road heading towards farm and then through metal gate and walked down the hedge line. Ivy trying to take over the pillar. trimmed back. Cap/plug missing.

Parked in handy spot at start of private road. Walked up lane to a point about 20 feet past the pillar then through the gap in the hedge (which I trimmed) and doubled back to the trig. Cap missing.

Parked at the end of the private road and walked although I guess I could have driven to the pillar as the road appears to be shared by a number of properties. Fortunately the field was devoid of cattle. Typical lush Cheshire countryside, great.

Could not find trig in the hedge at this time of year. Farmer passing told me it was in the field half way between the telegraph pole and the tree. Then easy to find in the field.

Even in the height of summer this hedge isn't especially bushy, so easy to find and photograph this one. Parked in the passing place by the gate 50yards or so east of the trig itself. You need to go into the field to bag this one.

You can drive up this lane all the way to the trig point. It is on the left hand side of the lane while driving in, behind the hedge as opposed to in it!

This one is easy to spot from the road when there are no leaves on the hedge. The pillar has a lot of fine cracking. It is mid way between two gates.

Another visit on the way to Leigh, this time I could not find the brute. Probably hidden in hedges along the farm drive. I am sure its there somewhere
