There is no redeeming feature of this place on a day like today. Thank goodness I didn't have to walk far to ding the pillar. Parked at the end of the dead end New Road in Wrockwardine Wood. Walk up the steps, turn left, walk 60yds and it is tucked down off the path on the left near a bench. I have logged the pillar as slightly damaged due to the middle plate of the spider being stolen.
