Parked 400m E on opp side of the road, at a dirt pull-in, opposite a lone house. Took a GR from Old Maps which shows it as a BM, GPS then took me straight to it. Blue gas bottle remains a good marker though, easily spotted as working my way through the scrubby woodland. Hole in deer fence also extant. After going through that, head almost due S (perhaps a little W) following a line of 7 maturing conifers. FBM sports a blank height tag; left thick moss intact so no OS plates seen. Didn't see any damage.

Log #474. What a dump. Now that this one's ticked off, I'll gladly never come here again. Parked in front of the waste disposal bit as per the others, walked along road until spotting the pines, then over the stone wall and through the handily-cut hole in the deer fence. GPS was totally useless, spent 20 minutes or so looking for the gas bottle. Once found, quick bag of the FBM and got the hell out of Dodge. [ExP-317/MiP-38/Rev-6/BM-38/IS-50/Other-25]

Bingo with Douglas second time around as he closes in on a possible FBM completion. Next stop, Abyssinia Bothy :).

Parked near the recycling centre then walked back along the edge of the busy road for at least 350 metres before getting over ditch and deer fence to find blue gas bottle and FBM with Alex Cameron in wet conditions.

Parked at Waste Disposal site. Struggled to find the FBM, then spotted the brown kettle. There's not much left of the boat. Saw the gas cylinder from the kettle and walked to the FBM. In addition to the other notes here, it's SW of a few conifers. My GPS wasn't much help

Third time lucky but without too much effort on this occasion. Between the three visits we must each have put in over an hour looking for this FBM. But despite all the gorse, brambles, thistles, nettles, high bracken, miscellaneous dumped rubbish, two walls, one deer fence and an overgrown flooded ditch, it was worth it in the end. The undergrowth is now dying down a bit.

Located in waste ground behind a deer fence, amidst gorse, bracken and new oak saplings. Only five metres from iainmac's boat (still there, and with a brown kettle on the thwart!).
