Third of four of the day. Thanks to a previous trigger, the vegetation was trampled down to the FBM, I would not have found it otherwise. No views as such, unless you like speeding traffic on tarmac. It certainly would benefit from a clear out and fence surround.

Spotted this one on my car's satnav. Found in the brambles, but looked like a melted traditional FBM.

The location relative to the sign across the road makes this fairly easy. No height tag. Site surrounded by wet brambles- an FBM deserves a better place than this.

We measured back from road junction and kerb, signs are where they should be but i think there has been an access to field made. The ground is too high and the bushes are missing. Could have been buried you will need a big spade ,Good luck Found on second visit

Flush on ground. On west side of road. 2 m north of junction sign on east side of road. 4 m from road edge. In line with tree which we jammed a bit a white stake behind the ivy. GPS a long way off.

Navenby note: stake next to tree, lopers under my arm are defintly required. FBM by feet

Parked just off A15 by Green Man Farm and walked along roadside to find FBM with just the top face showing in among the brambles. Plates and bolt all on top face. Position is on verge of W side of road almost exactly opposite crossroads warning sign.

FBM is still in place and fairly easy to find at this time of year. It is close to ground level and had a light covering of weeds. See photo for location in relation to road signs. It sits opposite the sign and approx. 6 feet in from the road edge.

The attack point highlightted by others has now been removed and new road signs are in place. Will have to return in winter when undergrowth more manageable

Thanks to clear instructions from saginanivalis, I had no problem in finding this FBM, other than the walk from where I parked along this busy road's narrow verge. GR to 10m only.

Found easily with the aid of the OS sketch, though covered by vegetation. In excellent condition, though not the normal granite pillar type. Difficult to get a good GPS fix because of overhanging trees.
