I was walking up and down the path, not being able to find the FBM. Until I twigged that it may be on the other side of the fence, in someone's garden. Sure enough.

Didn't like to disturb the house owners so settled for a quick peek through a gap in the hedge. Pillar clearly visible.

New owners of 27 Fraser Close were very hospitable. Even though it was late on a sunday afternoon. They gave me the opertunity to take a look at the FBM. They were knowledgable as they have past working connections with the OS in Southampton. I am sure the FBM is now well protected.

Excellent condition, with height tag. Photos disappointing as only had cheap camera. The houseowner said that someone from the OS had come not too long ago to 'check up on it', but he knew nothing else about it.

I too failed to find this in 2004 although LandLine mapping confirms its location at/near end of garden. First positive confirmation I saw of its existence was photos uploaded to MSN/OSBM site by RWW, then Elsworth's log here. Just possible to sneak a photo thru the gap

Just visible in the back garden of 27 Fraser Close. Inside the rear fence, you can see it peering under the hedge along the side of the property ...

Went on a post-orienteering hunt for this group of Daventry trigs but started off badly with a no find. I had a GPS but it did not help. I recon it is either missing or on one of the back gardens.

On the way to see Lincoln play at Northampton so called into Daventry. Spent a good 20 minutes meticulously searching the grass verges on the main road and the housing estate but couldn't find it anywhere. The estate dates to 1970's, I think, so I wonder whether the builders removed it?
