Log #141. Easy to find, most gorse hasn't grown back yet. Directly opposite parking place on east side of road, over ditch & wire fence. I don't think I've seen a height tag on an FBM yet. [ExP-127/MiP-2/Rev-1/BM-10/Other-1]

In spite of all the successful logs, this one eluded me. The ditch was full to overflowing due to last night's torrential rain and there was no way across it. Peered everywhere for about 20 minutes then gave up. Definitely a winter spot, I think.

From the house called 'Falcon's Cliff' signed above from door, walk north west towards Dornie. The FBM is opposite the second passing place sign and is hidden from road. You will need to cross the fence on north east side of road at a spot a few yards on the Dornie side of this passing place sign then look to your right. The FBM is well hidden but is directly opposite the passing place sign. The ditch was fortunately dry on this occasion.

Forewarned about the difficulty we looked very closly at the gorse bushes and undergrowth. Saw part of it peeking out! Managed to keep both feet dry, not so good at fending off Gorse! Height tag missing -is this a Scottish thing?

Bit of a swine as I was looking on the wrong side of the road initially.Eventually noticed Lone Walkers passage through the jungle on the correct side of the road.Wet foot for me too...the ditch is deeper than it looks..!

Perseverence paid off on this one. Got stung by nettles and pricked by gorse, but eventually found it. Opposite passing place. Got very wet feet though.

I immediately found a grass-covered flat slab c 1x2m with rivet in SE corner, at E end of layby pretty much in expected location. I assumed this is the FBM but seeing the later logs I'm not so sure.
