First I climbed Garreg Lwyd (616m) and trigpoint, the onto Foel Fraith (602m). From there I took a detour to Carn Fadog (512m) and also over to the two Twrch caches on the disused tramway and incline, which was interesting. Then it was across to the SAS cache, and then onto the highest and most outlying summit for today, Garreg Las (635m) and then onto the trigpoint and summit which lies beyond, a beautiful spot. Time was getting on but I managed to include Cefn y Cylchau (556m) on the way back and a fairly direct route back to Herberts Quarry allowed me to finish in daylight. A very scenic walk in this remote area. This was a nice trigpoint with good views.
