Easy spot despite a good covering of moss. Measured at 9.1m W side of road, beneath an ever growing tree. Blank height tag attached.

Beside the road or rather just set back from the road but as others have found it is protected by mutant nettles. Stupidity rather than bravery made me 'try' to find. Eventually stumbled upon it. Moss covered but still there and appears to be in reasonably good condition. Could not spot a height tag though. Left with areal tingle factor that stayed with me all day.
FBM Stranraer Post.

What a difference a month makes. The waist-high nettles are now 10' deep from the road and around 6' high. Couldn't see the FBM and didn't have heavy-duty gardening gear with me! I shall return...

Eventually found in the long grass in under a Sycamore tree. Approx 9m from road. This would be a lot easier to find in the "non growing" months. Battled through waist high nettles to get to this one!
Stranraer FBM well liked by moss.

Wigtownshire. Found under the tree as per photos of previous visitors but what the photos don't show are the rows of stinging nettles in front. After finding a way past those, sure enough the FBM was there. There is a height tag but it is blank.

After finding nearby Berntsen. Found using photo of tree. Just visible from lane. Large grass verge for parking. Hidden by nettles. Area around FBM clear.

Tucked away in an odd place I thought. Tried for the Aux too, but had to catch a ferry and ran out of time :-(

The little fellers growing a mossy beard! The bluebells looked lovely in the twilight.
