Parked in Carne Street nearby and walked up track to garage and FBM. 1st of 5 trigs today, we then drove around to Sancreed FBM, Lands End, Bartinney Downs and Carn Gloose pillars.

The photo says it all.

My first FMB My wife lived by here as a child completely ignorant of the FBM but she did show me the Devils rock. Through the trees to the left overlooking the Combe.

Made a bit of a mess of arriving at this one as my SatNav sent me up a very narrow lane lower than the actual FBM. Ended up doing a bit of reversing and parking at the bottom of the slope before walking up the hill for and easy find.

YSM706 Tolcarne FBM. Sat nav took me to wrong place. Ended up someone's driveway and I managed to wedge the car on a giant boulder with 2 wheels off the ground. After a good while, sorted it and then found the FBM in the correct lane.

The lane leading to the FBM branches off the main road just about opposite the road that leads to the auxiliary bolt, so having logged that first, I had no trouble in finding the FBM. It is up against the RH post of an entrance to a garage.

Relatively easy climb. You should walk it from Tolcarne bolt which is literally at the bottom of the hill and accross the road. OK condition, but views restricted by houses and trees.

Took a bit of a search as we were not sure exactly what a Fundamental Benchmark looked like. Anyway, there it was sat at the side of the road next to a garage. It is also at the top of a steep hill!
