Good condition FBM on a roadside verge. Currently there's a large treestump in the area. The FBM is to the left of that (looking at it from the road). The FBM is located where the wall behind the shrubbery gets closer to the road. Height tag present reading "290.03ft". Fast road. There's a layby 300m to the north.

It was very sunny today so reading any information on my phone was tough. Firstly I read Griefmiester's log as 12th Jul 2021 and therefore deduced an easy find. Not so as it was over a year ago for the previous find. Not even sure I was on the correct side of the road I spent an age in the mid day sun bashing down the vegetation with only my legs as assistance. No joy. I then consulted previous finders and worked out it was on the East side of the road - where I had been searching. So after Probus I returned this time with a walking pole and eventually found it. It is just completely hidden in the undergrowth about 2 meters back from the road on the East side. This road is so busy, so please be careful.

Parking in the farm entrance a few meters to the S FBM is in good condition and buried in the bank.

Parking is the main problem here or rather the danger from the busy road. Parked in a lay by some 250 meters to the north and carefully made my way down to the FBM and found it nestling in the grass.

Busy road so had to park 100 yards further down in the farm entrance. Quick find and spotted the cache as well.

Easy spot on roadside verge although partially embedded in bank field boundary so rear not visible. Height tag retained, 290.03 ft. Safe parking 85m S at entrance to Tregellas Farm.

A quick log having easily found the marker, while placing a themed geocache nearby. I also logged this as a YOSM find - but subsequently that series has been killed by Geocaching.com so this was one of my last finds in the YOSM series.

Found after a day's geocaching and finding the nearby FBM Aux. Noted this one straight away, easy find with good co-ords.

Tough to find even with all the other clues. Nearer to the edge of the verge than we expected. It is under a bush but very overgrown. Cleared it as much as possible but it is very mossy. White lines have been re-done and it is now opposite a white line rather than level with a gap.

How difficult can it be to find an FBM?? Tjhanks to dal's clue I eventually got there; it might be OK in the spring but in the late summer it isn't easy! Definitely one for the gloves and protective clothing. OS tag has gone. Overgrown but otherwise unscathed.

This one survives. The verge is easier in February. The FBM is set against the bank, and was hidden by grass. The only guide I can give is it is opposite a gap in the white line. I left it clear.

I'm convinced its on the E side of the road where it widens between road edge and an old hedge (mainly hidden). Return winter.

OS sketch has no measurements and no obvious pillar type fbm at roadside. Much greenery.
