Beware over-zealous security guards, they will challenge you regarding photography, but stand your ground and argue the toss with them as there are no 'No Photography' signs and no armed guards. They will back down! The AS is on the NE elevation of the cafe, visible from the road.

I finaly came to bag the nearest "trig" to my workplace. I just had to go one better than everyone else and stand underneath it. Unfortunately I was chased away by a security guard!

I had driven past this a few times but never taken a photo however I did the nearby synchroton geocache today and took a photo from the canal which is a completely different angle from all the other pictures. With the new frontage and different angle it is hard to tell if I have got the right place. In addition the picture was taken with a camera phone but I am pretty sure I am correct. You can just make it out to the left of the large window.

looking this up on OS site the reason for location(on building) is because it is part of GPS ground station network for OS NET

Arrived well after closing time, so no problem with any security. Building looks a lot different now from the other photos and that threw me for a minute, but easy spot on the front edge of the building by the roundabout.

GPS pointed to suggest it was located somewhere within a private location. Therefore, tried to view it from afar but couldn't see anything in the distance... although then again we were looking out for a pillar!

No problems with access since I work on the site! However, tree cover and building shielding is a problem so I only got 30m accuracy. However, I was standing right under it so probably got a good measurement overall. Previous loggers are correct that it is a Govt. controlled site, so no access is generally possible. However, they won't shoot you or anything!! I'll try and get some more accurate measurements later.

Nearly got a night in a cell for approaching here, quick whit and judgement saved the day. This is a government controlled site, approach at you own risk! Bluffed deleting a picture which was taken for a geocoin mission.
