Visited The Lizard in the early evening after most of the crowds had gone home. The lighthouse was built in 1752 and originally had two towers with fixed lights. In 1903 the light in the eastern tower was converted to flashing, the the light on the western tower removed. This western town still exists and id the location for the Active Station Antennas.
