Mounted on a building at the ferry terminal. It appears to be a standard Leica receiver but with the white protective dome missing, not a disc-type as a number of previous loggers have stated. Seems to have lost the dome sometime in the summer of 2012 going from previous logs. Clearly it's working fine without it.

Rather dull object in itself (note it's a disc not a dome) but in the most stunning setting on a wonderfully sunny day - pretty little port, steam train, wonderful views of Skye all the way to the Cuillins.

Tomtom alerted us as we left the ferry. Ferry side of the docks says No Access. We parked further along the road and there was no notice at this access point, so wandered in towards an office -then past and along the dock and out. Not challenged by anyone we met. Not the most visualy exiting of places, for a 'trig'! But, our first "Active" trig.
