The OS no longer lists WOR1 (or WOR2) as active stations, and the domes that are present are in a different location from the original ones shown in earlier logs here. The labels on the underside of these 3 Novatel domes identify them as GNSS receivers, but they aren't the usual OS type. So have gone with destroyed for this one and its companion Wormleighton 1.

Don't think the current location on a three-topped mast is the original location as the GR is 12m in error. The remains of the original base, with three mast attachments, is located in approx. the correct GR location. Think this is now technically "moved".

Well......nothing more to say, really! What a wierd place to find one of these [or two, actually!]. If I hadn't seem them on the roofs of OS Offices in various places, I wouldn't have known. As Father Ted says, an odd building, down a farm lane off the A423. Some rural views, but nothing to speak of.

I am not convinced that I found what I was supposed to at this site. It is at the correct grid reference and looks like it could be the passive station but it is maintained by Trinity House for mariners but here in the middle of the country.
