Stopped off earlier in week to get nearby geocache, returned to log the trig 'bolt' - plenty of boats going past on a glorious day.

First full day of our stay on Arran, easy find. Bolt showing some signs of damage/wear - see photo. Good spot to see Common Seals both in the sea and hauling out on the rocks. Nice views west to Goat Fell - we'll see you another day! ***Revisited 17 Nov 2017. Quick stop off en-route to SYHA after a day's tump bagging in the S.

Well, its a bolt and its easy to find. What more can we say. There are no toilets here now, but there are some unusual sheep on the quayside. We didn't see any black guillemots here but there were loads around the ferry terminal in Brodick.

This bolt trig can be found behind the Corrie Quay toilets and sits on a concrete base which has unusual grooves carved into it at the edges.

Had forgotten that it was behind the toilets, rather than on the end of the quay itself. Two workies in a cooncil van watched intently as I stared at the concrete. They'd gone by the time I found it. There are some strange groves cut into the concrete around the bolt - are they related?
