Compound all locked up this evening, can see top of the dome from gates immediately to the west, not ideal but best I was likely to get. LICF, a Leica AR25 antenna, was installed Dec 2008, replacing LICH which itself had been installed May 2004. LICF was an upgrade replacing a Leica AT504 antenna, it was installed in precisely the same location as its predecessor.

I couldn't get very close, but saw the white dome shape showing above roof height.

Easily found on the road out of Curborough. Turned into the works entrance - just a few workmen there at this time of day. Photo of the dome and away. If you were to ask someone who works there, what it was like, the clear answer would be "it stinks!".

Rode out to Curborough Craft Centre by bike and walked up the public footpath from the south and along the metal railings in the footsteps of Father Ted. Had to get in and out of a deep ditch full of nettles and thistles to get close to the fence for a photo. My Satmap said I was within 134 feet of the true location. Returned by way of Fradley Junction – stopped for a pint of Mucky Duck brewed by Quartz Brewing Abbots Bromley – lovely.

Staffordshire. It wasn't easy to get close, so settled for a view from the road.

Got pretty close by walking along the footpath and then up the field edge outside the matal railings. I presume what I was looking for, and therefore took a picture of, was the white globe object attached to the roof - that's what other triggers seem to refer to at other such stations.

Was passing close by today so thought I would check this out. It is definitely an active station, fitted to the roof of the small administrative building of this Severn-Trent sewage treatment plant. The place was open today and I was able to drive in to the site and park right by the station. The engineer on duty did not know when it had been put there but it is certainly there!

Lichfield Active Station. Many active stations are not strictly reachable, but I'm happy to say Good if you can get beneath or near them. This one was definitely unreachable. It is on a building in a locked secure compound (certainly locked on a Sunday evening). However, the white dome can be seen from the public road to the south at a field entrance - I checked with binoculars, it is just E of the centre of the roof.
