General Wade's road can be followed for most of the way, after which one needs to leave the road up a fairly steep trudge to reach the trig point

Parked at the Ardachy turnoff, and went straight up the side toward trig-point, straight into heavy gorse, then a pleasant walk near the summit to Trig. Fantastic views all round, especially towards Loch Ness.

Group wanted to spend a couple of hours having a meal and walking round St Augustus. Excellent I thought. The usual change of clobber in the boot and off we go. Beautifully moist and colourful day, big smile on my face :)
