Rivet located quickly. There is a faint triangle cut into the concrete with the rivet in the middle of one side. Great views if you're into train spotting :)

a nice walk up to the bridge. Bob is pointing out the rivet - lovely views of the reservoir and the railway sidings.

Easy spot although white triangle completely worn away. Walked from NE end and spotted it as I approached. Very shiny as previously noted. Estimated at 0.6m from SE side of the bridge and paced it out at 38-39m from steps at SW end.

Not a very impressive trig point, but views over Hinksey railway yard good if you are into spotting trains!

Station T071 in Secondary Block SP42. Rivet on the footbridge linking South Hinksey to New Hinksey. Rivet well polished from decades of passing shoes. There are the remains of a rough etched triangle around the rivet. I walked over it a number of times before I spotted it. If you count the pillar supporting the footbridge at the top of the steps at the S Hinksey end as the first pillar, the rivet is on the fourth pillar. Towards the SE side, about two thirds the way across the walkway. The Halt in the name closed in 1915.
