A very pleasant chap, who is happy to accommodate those who have an interest in this hobby, and we must have chatted for a good hour all told. The pillar itself is a distinctive looking one, with its off centre spider and non original plug. And the 'alien golf ball' behind it adds to the charm. Being the county top for Lincolnshire the views are pretty darn good. I picked the perfect evening for it really.

Fantastic views of the whole county from the gate near the road, which is a handy parking space if you want to quickly nip up to the trig, thoroughly loved this location. You can see the Humber Bridge, the line of the River Trent with it's power stations along it, Lincoln Cathedral and Boston Stump to name just a few of the main landmarks to look for! I am not normally one for trespassing where there isn't a footpath, however there was no-one around at all, and I did no damage to crops.

Detour on the way home from a 3-3 at Lincoln (last minue equaliser direct from a corner) Needed all three points though... Field freshly ploughed so a dusk trudge through the mud for a very surreal marilyn tick. Just as well I got it then as Hereford United have not played at Lincoln since.
