Rivet on south east side of platform. Not sure if it’s the bolt? Searched under central cairn stones but not found- rather frozen so notideal conditions

Cairn well built up again today. I'll just have to trust that the bolt is still there safe and cosy beneath.

We found the small cairn on top of the Platform Bolt. Removed enough stone to see Bolt and then rebuilt. Actually the rebuilt cairn was slightly higher. The post is now directly above Bolt.

had fun with this one took down the cairn and found the bolt took picture and rebuilt again and ordained it with two sheep skulls - a real beaut even if we do say so ourselves :-)

I didn't know of or find a bolt but OS trig archive refers to bolt in concrete platform, computed and levelled 1956, last maintained 1977, height 407.212m. Known as a Platform Bolt (quite a few in Cornwall)
