Found easily due to previous comments. Marks given for survival! Visited with my brother who lives close by and wasn't aware of this pillar's existence. He confirmed that the manure heaps are there permanently although grow and decrease in size. It has been very dry this year so not too unpleasant passing them. Pillar becoming encroached with brambles so next time I visit my brother I will do some gardening.

Easily found, needs propped upright again, but that'll be easier said than done. FB is facing tarmac so unable to check condition and confirm number. [ExP-316/MiP-38/Rev-6/BM-31/IS-50/Other-21]

Well done snaik for finding this. Closest pillar to work so was unhappy when it vanished. Parked on farm road where pillar used to be. Walked down old A9 and struggled to get past couple of hundred metres of dung. Fell in near the bottom, wet foot and mucky trousers. Trig on new A9 side at end of dung. Well buried in foliage at this time of the year. Easy return along new A9 edge - care needed due to high speed traffic.

Poor trig - moved and toppled. Volunteers to help right it post on forum.

Log #102. I was hoping the previous visitor was mistaken, unfortunately they were not. It seems that being a passive station wasn't enough to save this pillar. A decent portion of the ground between the track and the slip road has been flattened, and there is no indication whatsoever that a pillar used to reside there. I popped into the Land Rover place next door, and they hadn't even noticed the land had been bulldozed and couldn't advise when it had taken place. Managed to pick up a puncture while parked in the wee industrial estate bit across the road, so be careful if stopping in there. EDIT: I have emailed the OS for any information re: the removal of this pillar - apparently the landowner contacted OS stating that the pillar was going to be removed. Or that's the way I took their reply to my query. EDIT 2017: Since re-found and re-logged. [ExP-93/MiP-2/BM-7]
