Followed those who have gone before... Easy to find and a bit of fun from the usual trig pillar. Lovely day down at Caswell. Bolt is now about a meter+ from the existing path towards the house there, you should spot the dead grass patch that it sits under. Super spot on the higher of the paths. Climbed up the steps through the woods just past the top car park.

Now 3m north of current path in tall grass. The path up is just left of bend in road sign below top car park.

Caswell Bay

Walked up from upper car park, thought we'd found the path but very overgrown with fern and bramble. Pushed on anyway to open meadow at top of hill in front of house 'Summercliff'. Grass recently cut but 1 3/4" Bolt clearly visible in concrete block but with encroaching turf. Cleared that away to leave it largely free. Nice views over Caswell Bay beach.

in the middle of the track. easy walk up through woodland on a path fifty metres downslope of the visitors centre.good views on a clear day

Visited with Dusty. Couldn't find start of path so took route one till we hit path! Then a fairly easy walk up to Block. Great views. On descent found we didn't walk up far enough to find start of path.It's behind building in top car park access from the road not car park.

Paid my £1.30 car park fee and set off. Even though I had put the coords for the start of the path into my GPS I set off on the wrong path, my enthusiasm getting the better of me. I found a geocache on the coast path and then climbed up through the heather and found myself on the golf course. Doubling back on myself along a fairly feint path I got to the trig point outside what looks like an old coast guard look out. I decended along the path that Dusty recommended.

SN80 T073 Block. Surprised that I am the first to visit this trigpoint as it lies on footpath overlooking the popular beach of Caswell Bay. If you park in Caswell Bay the footpath you need runs from the south side of the B4593 at SS5945087700. It runs up through the woods to the trig in an open area with good views.
