Landed off RIB onto rocks at NE end then over N summit and across grassy isthmus (passing small gloup) to south summit. Pillar at highest point ie OS spot height. Alan Holmes group charter out of Ullapool. Funny how only 5 out of a group of 12 got off the boat to check out this feature.

Rain had now eased off and the sea was nice and calm. I imagine landing here would be quite problematic with any sort of significant swell.

A few blemishes in concrete but essentially vgc. HMS COOK 1951 on top plate. Standard narrow tapered Hydro pillar. Landed off RIB onto rocks at NE end then over N summit and across grassy isthmus (passing small gloup) to S summit. Pillar at highest point ie OS spot height. Group charter out of Ullapool.

Landing place, N tip of island Preparing to rejoin our non trigging friends. Featuring Dugswell2 (blue) and Chalky (red). Lucky with the sea conditions; we went on to get the similarly tricky Eilean Furadh Mor.
