Good views over the Berwickshire coastline, and this visit was enhanced by the joyous greetings (gruntings) we received from a group of utterly charming pigs in the next field. I don’t think I’ve ever been so warmly welcomed at a trig. Pillar retains its cap with deep lettering and one sight-hole is open although it seems that a little creature has made a comfortable nest within.
