Parked on Siskin Parkways West. Photographed the pillar at distance from SP 35898 74769, next to Funko. When doing this, you should obtain permission from security at Funko as the area I used to photograph the pillar from is their property.

re-visit. Decided on this pair of unusual pillars as today's destination. As its a Bank Holiday went for a bit of direct main road bash into Coventry, but managed to find the signed cycle route for Bagington out from the City Centre. Wow this area has changed since my last visit. The sports field and railway museum have gone, to be replaced with a huge new factory, the road is being re-built ,and a bridge is being built across the A45. I had a couple of tries before success at a third. From a new roundabout to the East of the factory I was able to walk up a haul road then across some rough ground to the airport boundary fence. You will see the control tower with a hanger to its right : further right is a strip of tarmac, then two portable buildings. If you position yourself to see between the these portable buildings you'll see the pillar at about 250 yards away.

As reported below, not a regular OS trig. No plug, sight holes or flush bracket. Visit arranged with Andy Hixon, Coventry Airport. Site visit escort - Phil - many thanks for being so obliging.

Spotted this one on the Website. Walked across sports field and trampled through nettles up bank to security fence. Pillar clearly visible, but about 200 yards away. Tried access road in from between Rail Museum and Air Museum, but the view of the pillar is just obstructed by the adjacent building. Previously visited the first Airport pillar before this one was added.

I discovered this trig point when I spoke to the airpot staff about the hisotry of the other tig point near the perimeter fence. They just happened to say - "it's like the other one near the ATC". I then arranged a visit to go and see it. Very kind of them. Its near the air traffic control tower, off Rowley Road - near the museuum. It may be visible from the perimeter fence but only by going into the rugby ground to the NW and making your way to the fence.
