Great find Jon! 5m NE of expected coordinates but triangular punch mark in centre of bolt shaft indicates OS have happily used it, arguably Good or SD. Maybe bolt head was lost at time of installation

Spotted this quite quickly but dismissed it. After some unsuccessful searching came back to it and had to sctratch it with penknife to make sure it wasn't a stone! Definitely a headless bolt on flatish outcrop paced out at 18m NE of a few stones marking the hill summit.

Visited this hill on a Marilyn bagging walk with Jonathan de Ferranti and Alison Fox. Unfortunately at the time I didn't know that there was a bolt here to look for.
