Nearly four years since last visit, so needed the turf pushing back again to reveal it. Car-park full of walkers' and anglers' cars. Weather cold enough for the loch to be covered in thin ice

Rivet on north corner of outfall structure. Was covered in soil from molehill. Grey day.

First time Ive ever been to this location - and its really lovely here. Not particularly impressed with the minuscule rivet. Easy enough to find as it was only covered with a few strands of dead grass. Its on the concrete outflow box at the north-east end of the loch. There are a couple of handy stiles to get over the wire fence.

If i come back in the next life as a rivet then i would like to be located by this lovely little loch! It was simply beautiful in the winter sunshine and teeming with wildlife, including tufted ducks, juvenile swans and stonechats.

Roxburghshire. What a lovely location for a rivet, especially on a bright and sunny winter's day.

On the dam. Some recent visitor had been busy doing some unnecessary digging, the stud was already exposed. Lots of ducks and a swan family, who were very interested in my presence - obviously well fed by someone.
