'Remains' is a bit of an overstatement - the rivet has gone, there isn't any of it left.

as per Boys from the Dyes exposed old plinth and surprised to find os sketch still online. No sign of rivet, must be just under edge of new plinth. Frustrating! Logged as Remains, as original substrate there.

Interestingly, my GPS sent me into the long grass just behind the new(ish) bench & concrete plinth, but I couldn't find anything in there either. I think it must have been winding me up.

I hadn't bothered bringing any ironmongery for this, which meant no sketch either as it lives in the same toolbag. So I stared at what turned out to be the wrong concrete plinth for a bit, before heading off for Coalyard Hill on foot.

I agree, no sign of rivet, measurements all gummed up and new concrete in abundance. Think this is a goner.

All change here, they have extended the toilets and removed green bench. See photo. Manage to find edges of existing concrete plinth but no sign of rivet. Think new plinth for picnic table has been cast on top of it.
