A great find, living locally i've been putting this off for some time as i thought the chances of success would be quite low. How wrong i was, GPS narrowed the search area down to the usual few square m, which in this case comprised of a road, pavement, cyclepath and narrow grass verge. Some probing by my assistant indicated a promising area to dig, resulting in a larger than average block of concrete some 60x60cm, a quick brush revealed the metal bolt (or rather a rivet) similar to that found at TP0123 North Blyth. Furthermore a surveyors arrow head was etched into the block. Location is 65cm from stone wall directly in line with were the dressed coping stones to the North abutt the rough coping stones from the south, block buried some 15cm deep.
