Cracking walk to here and Bearraich starting from the SNT car park. Followed track to before Tavool House at the waterfalls. Then branched off following a slight track to a gap in the wall which brings you to a quad bike track. Followed this which brings you out to the bealach between Creach Beinn and Bearraich. Headed right then to the Trig with fantastic view. Then from here onto imho the best Hill on Mull. Bearraich

Overall approach from ESE. Parked in free NTS car park at NM477275. Followed mapped track for nearly 3 miles to a point just beyond Tavool House. At NM436272 where the estate track descends sharp left, a worn narrow path on the right climbs the steep wooded slope. This route soon leads out onto open hill. Staying on a northwesterly course as directly as the terrain allows, this eventually rises to the summit of Creach-Bheinn. Vanessa in good condition. Spider centre open. Flush bracket faces east, compass measurement 92. Vented through north sight hole. Full 360 panoramic view includes Ross of Mull, Iona, Staffa, Theshnish Isles, Gometra, Ulva, Eorsa and Ben More.

A lovely spot for a Vanessa trig. Parked in the Scottish National Trust car park for Burg then walked along the track passed Tavool House before heading up to Bearraich, Creach Bheinn and then Meall nan Capull with Martin Richardson and Jim Bloomer on a sunny but mixed weather day.
