Gap in hedge at grid position with new hawthorn samplings. Towards the road 9" deep is the old tarmac road surface with a number of BT man-holes also spotted along the verge. Prodding about it this proved futile today.

Leys Hill Old road surface - prevalent throughout site
Leys Hill If its still there its somewhere near the rock
Leys Hill Can see many of the Doncaster trigs from here, including this one - Scawthorpe Water Tower
