(629) A good walk down Temple Lane brings you to this folly. Rather tatty looking now as others have noted. Hoped to see some one at the farm to ask about visiting the nearby pillar, but no-one about.

An interesting monument in contrast to the nearby farm buildings. Track very muddy. A few details at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnaby,_East_Riding_of_Yorkshire

Ball on top in good condition. Building in OK condition but has seen some recent repointing. Adjacent very large muck heap rather spoils the setting.

Had a walk here after doing the geocache in Carnaby Village. Strange folly in a rather scruffy farm location. Interesting place, though.

Being picky, I'd say that the Station (Apex) is in good condition, although the supporting structure is a bit tatty. From north, nice amble but rather scruffy farmy location. I like the way the grain silo roof mimics that of the folly.

Folly ... note also the lookalike grain silo roof apex!

Stumbled upon this when bagging Bessingby Pillar. Interesting Folly on top of the Wolds. Glad I made the effort to visit it. Easy to find up bridleway with some damage to the building which had been bricked up.
