Parked at a disused cottage on the approach to Roy (ND 5212 9960). GOML englishman at Roy, be sure not to walk up his track or he will tell you off... keep to the beach if on this approach. Visited the much more interesting lighthouse first, then on to here... and back via Roy... not the core path, as I was advised was a 'much better' route - presumably as it stays away from Roy! I would recommend the Roy route.

Tall concrete column near the (modern) lighthouse. Topped with a cross. There's a signed footpath but the folks at the end don't welcome vehicles along their private road. I was told there's a car park although I didn't spot it on the way out.

Nice walk along the headland. Strill call of terns overhead, some of them threatening me with their dives.
