Visited this a few times now but first time I've got round to logging it. Special trig with wonderful views :-)

Great views in all directions. The High Down trig may be missing but this monument is a worthy consolation prize for those that climb the hill.

The pillar might be AWOL, but the magnificent Tennyson Monument certainly isn't! The air up here really is worth "sixpence a pint". A blustery day, but a lovely stroll.

There's no missing the Tennyson Monument!

Visited as a diversion from a trip to Alum Bay, walking straight up Tennyson Down from the Highdown Inn, the pub on the old road to Alum Bay. Not a difficult find! Whilst I was there, I also looked for evidence of the missing High Down trig pillar (TP3783) that once stood about 10m north of the monument, but found nothing. Great views. And the pub is very pleasant.
