Waterloo Tower, Grade II listed, 1818-20. With later 19thC cast iron lattice-work spire surmounting brick tower. Seems to be in poor state of repair as all fenced off.

Beautiful monument in a lovely parkland setting. The house, museum and the excellent farm shop/cafe are definitely worth a visit, the latter especially if the weather is poor as it was today!!

The Waterloo Tower is within Quex Park. It was built in 1818 by John Powell. The nearby Powell-Cotton Museum & Quex House Gardens are well worth a visit. I forgot my camera, so the photo is lifted from their website!
