En route sought out the little known St Anne's Well. Jim brought out a hip flask of whisky and plastic tots for a toast and I had some cake to share. A frosty and sunny day.

Only by having a last look on the way back to the FP to Repton did TG spot it. It's in the W corner of the copse, not readily visible from the FP approach from the W. It's just visible if you step two/three metres N off the path at the W corner and two/three metres in from the copse's edge. Good views from the N of the copse. My legs are still stinging.

Walked down High St, Askew Grove to find Burdett Way. The FP is signed and leads to an overgrown field that was dryish today but won't always be. After that the path goes behind houses to lead to the copse containing the trig. Easy to spot today. Good condition, OS cap, metalwork intact. Nice pleasant rural views, a very easy pillar to visit.

Pleasant walk up from the village of Repton, the trig is located in a clump of trees on the top of the hill. It was nice to see 2 Red Kites circling over the Trent Valley from here.

Just above Repton. Pillar in good condition in a small wood. Good view of an old powerstation and the Toyota plant.
