Did Halival and Askival from Kinloch. Windy but amazing views all around. Everything from Skye Cuillin to Ben Nevis. Descended to Dibidil. Trig damaged.

From Kinloch with Andrew Purkiss and Steve Lewis, via Hallival. wet and windy; cut short the full traverse due to weather. Stone-built pillar with chunks of stonework missing. All 3 spider arm ends exposed; no cap or plug. No views either.

Inverness-shire. Graded as slightly damaged (see photo)because it could be a lot worse. Concrete plug. Superb location in superb weather. A truly memorable mountain day.

From Summer ML log book - Hallival and Askival back via Dibidil Bothy and Coast path. Here camping for the weekend with the MMC, great weekend.

Stone built and needing pointing. A highpoint of one of the best hill days in Scotland. Did a horseshoe of Dibidil rather than the usual Cuillin traverse, but rockbands high on this peak required some rockclimbing (avoidable). Mountaineering of a Norwegian flavour. NB its "Rum"
