Revisit whilst on BM hunt in the area l, arrived via 06.05 280 Earby to Preston 07.45 68 Preston to Blackpool Stagecoach buses, CBM inaccessible private grounds may be easier at the weekend.

Drove past today but properly visited in 1977/8 when I came to play rugby here for my old school. It sticks in my mind that pupils of this school do scoreboard duty when The Open (golf) is held at Royal Lytham St Annes.

Walked from Lytham Hall,after being dropped off by eldest daughter & son in law who were visiting the Mega Mini meet being held there.A couple of points of interset along the way,Lytham St Anne's RAF Fighter, Bomber & Coastal Command Memorial”. & George Formby Blue plaque.
