Visited/enjoyed this grandiose civic building during an architectural stroll around Nottingham. In the evening, my first visit to Meadow Lane to see: The Oldest Football League Club In The World 1-0 Not (currently) The Best In The West!

Fabulous civic building in the center of Nottingham. I've added a couple of pictures of the inside. worth a visit.

Apparently the dome contains all the water tanks for the sprinkler system for the building, and the clock bell is the lowest tone of any in the UK. Onwards to the Cross Keys for an excellent meal.
