Parked on the side of the road at NS7017569773. Walked up to the trig by the mast and wedged in the hedge. No one about to ask so just my pics through the fence from the field.

Log #339. Not quite as simple to find as I was expecting. Parked at the riding centre, then pillar is hidden in the hedge, surrounded by rusted farm machinery, tiles, and general junk. Still wearing my work stuff, so didn't climb over the barbed wire fence for a closer look. [ExP-244/MiP-30/Rev-2/BM-22/IS-31/Other-10]

Very good condition pillar in a small stand of trees (well, three trees and a phone pole). FB faces south-ish, west-ish sighthole open only. Cap is present with sunken lettering. Views quite decent from a surprisingly good viewpoint. Been along the A80 many times and never quite realised how much of a valley the road is in! Asked farmer for access at farm. No problems. Curious looks from three women in jodhpurs though....

BSM-style, cap intact with only Westerly sight open. Very Good Condition alround - I guess the overhanging tree, bushes and ex-telegraph poles surrounding the pillar protect it from any other wear and tear. A little mossy round the base.

Score for the location of the trig and views. If I were to give a score on the condition of the pillar it would be 10/10 - its in far better condition than most other trigs I have visited. The roofing tiles are still next to the trig as is a mobile phone mast unfortunately. Easy access from the wee private road which goes up behind the farm to some cottages, I drove right up. Its just a quick fence jump from the side of the road to bag the trig! The trig is on probably the highest point for a lot of miles. The view to the north west is blocked by trees and farm buildings but there is a good view of the eastern half of the camspies and southwards there is a view for miles also.
