St Mary's Church, Banbury. Beautiful Grade I listed church built circa 1790, replacing an earlier one damaged during the civil war. All good with the cupola. Did not investigate the bolt. There is cut benchmark on the north face (NW corner)

Church of St Mary, Grade I listed, c1790. Distinctive ironstone ashlar blocks, everything in Oxfordshire seems made from the same material. Cut benchmark to LHD side entrance.

A most unusual church. It has square windows. Visited on a day out with my wife.
