Welsh flag flying proudly. National Trust now look after that and so we just drive in and round it, and viewed the lovely metal work gates at the exit. gates close at 7pm in summer.

OPD#15: relaxed the pace a little to visit Chirk Castle and spend a few days in Llangollen. Re-enactment of Battle of Grogen going on at the castle; Old Man thinks this hobby as daft as trig collecting! Flagstaff very much evident but I will take as replacement - I guess it has had several over the years since it was built in the 1300s!
