Church of the Holy Trinity with St Edmund, Grade II* listed. OS list Bolt and Flagstaff as components of this trig, both would have been installed on the tower roof, the oldest part of the church (15thC). There is no longer a FS but Bolt could still be extant; no access today to investigate. Benchmark located on a tower buttress.

The Church of the Holy Trinity with St Edmund stands close to the green space of Horfield Common. It is surrounded by the leafy streets and houses of the Northern Bristol suburb. The trig consisted of a bolt and a flagstaff on the roof of its west tower. There was no sign of a flagstaff on the roof. There is a cut bench mark near the southwest corner of the church. The Sunday Service was just finishing so I did not enter the building. The common lies to the northwest of the church; it looks over suburban houses to the woods of Kings Weston Hill. From Wellington Hill to the southeast there is a view in places across Bristol to Dundry Hill in the south and to Kelston Round Hill on the edge of the Cotswolds to the east. The church is a Grade II* listed structure.
