4/5 from Warren Wood. Up along green lane and footpaths taking in Nyth Grug, Radnor Forest and Black Mixen trigs. From Black Mixen followed the path to where it meets the forest just below the small disused forest. Then along the forest fence till you reach the gate back out into the common. Turn right and head up along the fence. About 20m up you can cross the heather to pick up a larger path which you follow to the summit. At the top turn left and follow the path for a short distance. The trig sits on a very prominent mount to the left. Still no views, nothing but cloud. Trig is in excellent condition with spider and FB intact. Can see down the full length of the centre hole, quite unusual.

Second one of the day on a circular walk from Ffoediloes. As forecast, the cloud had lifted but it was still 8/8 so the patchwork quilt of fields viewed en route and from the top were in muted greens and yellows, but still lovely and worth the trip. The trig sits on a little tump of its own, like a mini Glastonbury Tor amidst a field of heather. Slight nav error towards the end resulted in a successful escape route down to the road via a field full of veg and a small copse but we didn't get any wetter!
