This is not too far from where I live. Christ Church, Kintbury, built in 1867 at Kintbury Crossways, from the designs of Mr Talbot Bury, on land given by the Earl of Craven. It served as a chapel of ease to the parish church. Locals say it was demolished in 1949, other sources say mid 50s, one local history book stated 1946 while another stated 1951 (see pics attached). This clearly contradicts OS's record of it being destroyed 3/56. Now the site of Christchurch Cemetary. Sadly, nothing left of the old church.

Built in 1867, this wooden church hosted death watch beetle and had to be demolished mid-20thC. Cemetery has been expanded to cover where the church formerly lie. Pleasant spot, but no views to speak of.

Intersected station SU77/INT048. Computed 1951. Listed as destroyed 3/56. Now no spire, no belfry, no church, just a cemetery (Christ Church Cemetery), with an area of grass and newer graves, which is I suspect where the church used to be.
