Bagged in passing on the Staffordshire Way. It is about 400m off the main path as the young farm worker reminded me when he stopped me some 50m from the pillar. I spoke unthreateningly to him and he eventually smiled at the eccentric old duffer in front of him. He did warn me it was pheasant shooting season and the birds were a bit twitchy. I'm sure I would be if I had a dozen shotguns aimed at me. So tread carefully if you're going to bag this pillar.
