Thick fog all day for our planned visit to Hoy. Passing ship had its fog horn blasting out every two minutes. You could even hear the engine but no sight of it.

Staying here for five nights in one of the former lighthouse-keeper cottages just a few steps from the iconic lighthouse which was built in 1858 by Robert Louis Stevensonís dad. Stupendous location. Itís the closest Iíve come to sleeping with an intersected station!
