Parked at Tatham Church (excuse to visit the hamlet) and walked up the road to Park House Farm. Straight through the farmyard on a public footpath and 4 wet fields later arrived at the pillar sited on top of some long abandoned quarry. Nice views north and east.Had a good farmer to farmer chat at Park Ho on the way back

After a marathon four pillar walk yesterday, a return to cycling an a gentle bimble along. The signpost to the footpath from the A683 has lost its fingerboard and is lost in the hedge. Possible to leave a bike at a gate a bit further NE. Convenient gates to divert to pillar across grazing land. Caught by sudden heavy shower at top and hurriedly retreated to lee of nearby barn to wait out its passing. Good all round views.

Visible with reasonably straight forward access. I came up the footpath from near Holme Head and then detoured onto private land passing an old barn and going through an open gateway to reach the pillar on the crest of the hill. Everything in good order and still retains an original plug. Nice views of the surrounding area.
