AKA Barnkirk Point Lighthouse. Parked at the gate on track leading down to the point (NY 1825 6495). Due north of the LH location took into the woods, up a steep bank and gained the concrete base and modern beacon, which I was able to ascend a short distance to get a photo over the top of the tanks across the Firth. Presumably the concrete base is that of the demolished lighthouse (as recorded at https://canmore.org.uk/site/105332/barnkirk-point-lighthouse), it's certainly far larger than would be required for the current short lattice tower. The link also records remains of the LH and lantern decaying nearby seen in 1997 - not seen by me though due to density of vegetation.

On top of a bank covered in dense vegetation is a small mast mounted on an old concrete slab. The slab has short lengths of steel protruding. The lighthouse was made of wood and burnt to the ground in the 1960s and replaced with a modern beaco.. On the seaward side of the location are two large water storage tanks no doubt used by the large industrial complex to the north.

Annan Waterfoot Lighthouse dense vegetation meant i could not get photo of the concrete base upon which this mast is attached
